Boelo van der Pool and Mª Angeles Abá Ruiz founded Babel idioma y cultura in 1999.
Since then, we have offered English and German courses to Spanish students and since 2001, Spanish courses to foreign students from all over the world.
Before founding Babel Idiomas, Boelo studied business administration
at Nijenrode University in the Netherlands, after which he has worked for
language schools in the UK, Spain and Germany, in
school management and marketing functions.
Mª Angeles was born in Malaga, where she studied Tourism
at Malaga University. Her experience as exchange student in the
USA drove her to work in language schools in the UK, where
she met Boelo.
